I let someone borrowed this LAST SUMMER and I just got it back today. What the what… Seriously?! I forgot I had let her even borrow this. This is one of my favorite movies. When Forny jumps through the glass at the Wal-Mart is so ridiculous. I love Ashley Judd’s character though. PERFECT!
Where the Heart Is
I want to see this so bad, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to be playing anywhere near me. What the heck!!! WHY!? All of the movies I want to see are never playing around here. I had to go to see The Artist in downtown Chicago and I had to go see The Descendants about 25 minutes away. This blows.
I love when I come on Tumblr and I have 6 new messages!! That made my day. It’s pretty freakin’ sweet when someone reads something I wrote and comments on it, whether it’s negative or positive. Feedback is feedback and I love it.
Also, I love the messages I get about the reblogs! I got a few about reblogging old Hollywood stuff. I love old Hollywood. Hollywood these days just doesn’t really cut it for me. I don’t like spending so much money on a movie that seems as though I have seen it twenty times before where the dialogue falls flat and the movie relies too heavily on action and what is being seen.
So thanks for the messages about everything. I ONLY give out my other “secret” blog to those who ask. I have 372 subscribers (hint) on that one and that’s purely things I have written and my thoughts on English and posts about literature.
I’m feeling kinda down today for some reason so I got home and popped in Wizard of Oz and curled up to watch it while working on my American Cinema homework. This week’s homework is all about the Musical as a genre in film.
I’m CLEARLY in love with this. I want to spend like a month on this alone. I am going above and beyond with working on this homework. It’s going to be fun when I get to writing the essay part of my homework. I’m going to just throw this out there and say that I am going to clearly go over a page. YAY!
Two of the people I have to define are: Gene Kelly and Judy Garland. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. I especially like that I am watching Wizard of Oz and I have to define Judy. SO awesome!!
